Program Description:
In it's 11th season, this is a whimsical play performed by high school students under the direction of drama coach Kate Wilford. Based on the book by Don Madden, The Wartville Wizard tells the story of an old man who gets tired of picking up litter and asks Mother Nature for help. The assembly is presented in three parts: a 15-minute play, a question and answer session with the actors and a discussion about litter and community pride presented by a Cincinnati Police Officer. At the end, students are deputized as Honorary Litter Patrol Officers. This 30-minute assembly, sponsored by the Charles H. Dater Foundation, is only offered once a month, so sign up soon!
