Nature Sparks Program
31 Aug, 2015. 0 Comments. . Posted By: lncigc

Program Description:

Time spent in nature is a powerful precursor to better learning. Research shows that children are more creative, less stressed, more focused, and have fewer behavioral problems when they spend time outdoors. Children’s curiosity and confidence will be kindled as they explore nature using all their senses. After two hours of nature-related activities such as nature sound mapping, scavenger hunts, fort building, and more, children will visit the Nature PlayScape with teachers and parents for unstructured, self-guided play. This program provides an excellent opportunity for students who have not had exposure to natural outdoor areas to form a positive, lasting connection through direct experience. Two program options are Scientific Senses and Animal Engineering.
