Program Description:

On this free field trip, students will gain a better understanding of where their trash goes and why it's so important to recycle. Lasting about five hours, the trip consists of : The Mysteries of Landfills classroom presentation, nature education at the Trailside Nature Center in Burnet Woods, a zero-waste lunch, and tour of the Rumpke Landfill.
