Program Description:
In this program, students are able to better appreciate the many uses of our Sun. Students become familiar with the concept of UV rays through an activity with UV color changing beads utilizing outdoor observation and inquiry. They gain an understanding of what solar energy is, how it is used, how it can be collected and how it can be harnessed into electricity.
