Students will learn about pre-colonial Native American ways of life including traditional homes, clothing, hunting, and gardening through hands-on experiences. These include examining cultural materials made by Native people such as hunting tools and items for making clothing and preparing food. Students will also hike Imago’s trails to find things in nature that Native peoples in this time period could have used in their daily lives in addition to learning about cultural aspects including music, dance, and Native American games.
