Program Description:

Invite us to your garden for a botanical education program with the Civic Garden Center! We are happy to offer classes for all students (PreK-12th grade) as well as programs for summer camps.
• Cosmic Compost (decomposers, soil types, carbon cycle, nutrient cycle, soil science)Flower Facts (pollination & flower anatomy)
• Flower Friends (pollination & flower anatomy)
• Kitchen Botany (fruit types & dissection)
• Ohio Nature (daily and seasonal changes, interactions within habitats & ecosystems)
• Super Seeds (diversity, plant life cycles, seed dispersal)
• Plant Survival (basic needs & behavior, growth & changes)
• Gardening 101 (building how to, planning, planting, maintenance)

Other topics are available, just call and we'll work it out! Up to 4 classes of 30 students each (120 total) can be conducted during a visit.
