Small Wonders Weekend featuring Richard Louv
Richard Louv, author of Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder will be in town on Saturday, April 26 for a lecture at the Cincinnati Flower Show.
This book, originally published in 2005 and now reprinted in an updated edition, inspired an international movement to reconnect children with nature. In it, Richard presents research from the United States and around the world about the importance of nature to healthy childhood development.
Richard Louv's message is an inspiration to all who hear it. You can help further the Leave No Child Inside Movement by encouraging your friends, neighbors and co-workers to learn more about how important it is for children to experience the joyful, unstructured play in nature that you experienced as a child.
We hope that you will plan to attend, and we encourage you to pass this information on to your own distribution list.
