Description: Everybody\'s Treehouse in Mt. Airy Forest provides a new perspective on the forest for people of all ages and abilities. Wheelchair accessible, the Treehouse can be the highlight of an educational program for your special needs class. Much of the program takes place in the nearby Oak Ridge picnic / playground area, which is equipped with accessible bathrooms (in season). Program topics and activities appropriate for your students can be worked out with the presenting Naturalist. Whatever is decided, your students will both learn and have fun.

Maple Sugaring

A 1 1/2 hour extension, with half taking place outside, for grades 1 - 5 includes Native Americans\' use of maple sap, science experiments, and additional activities.
